Green homes of the future
Design studies on display in Watford near London are showcasing new environmentally friendly houses. Legislation in the UK means all new houses built from 2016 will have to meet strict energy efficiency standards. Solar thermal panels, wind turbines and photo-voltaic cells are key technologies.
